The opera and the Armenian folk tale Hazaran Havk
Hazaran Havk ("The Thousand-Voiced Bird") is an opera sung in Armenian by composer Arthur Aharonyan, inspired by one of the most beautiful tales in Armenian heritage. Brought to life by deeply expressive music and a richly woven dramatic tapestry, the work tells the story of Prince Areg's quest for the mythical bird Hazaran Havk, whose healing song carries hope, renewal, and reconciliation.
Faithful to the spirit of tradition while speaking to today's audiences, the opera aims to introduce the world to a true gem of Armenian culture.

Orchestrating the work, preparing the orchestral material, and producing the piano reduction.

Presenting the work to the management of the Yerevan Opera House, collaborating with the director and set designer, establishing the staging schedule, and finalizing the production's overall budget.
Phase 4
Producing the show: creating the sets and costumes, rehearsals with the soloists, chorus, dancers, and orchestra, and staging the production.
Phase 5
The opera's premiere and opening performances.
