Art has been a breath of life for human beings since the dawn of time, and freedom is its soul. From childhood, every individual needs to freely create symbolic bonds with their environment and their inner self, through means of expression such as drawing or music. Granted, artists are the children of their time and culture, but art has no homeland. As Oscar Wilde once said, "Music makes the soul in harmony with all that exists." It is precisely the universal nature of artistic language and this need for creation that makes it obvious we must weave connections between people and cultures through the various realms of art.
